Our client, a Manufacturing Company located in Charlestown, is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist. This person will work along with the Director of HR to attain an employee-oriented, high performance culture emphasizing empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, and goal attainment. This person will also assist in the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. The Senior Human Resources Generalist will manage the day to day administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with the development and administration of programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company.
- Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
- Maintain employee-related data bases.
- Maintain employee records.
- Process Bi-Weekly and Bi-Monthly payrolls, including maintaining time and attendance records.
- Manage the recruitment process for internal and external candidates, perform background and references checks, process changes in employment status.
- Assist in administration of compensation plan.
- Collaborate on additions and revisions to employee handbook.
- Help monitor the organization’s culture so that it supports the attainment of the company’s goals and promotes employee satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources positions.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or Organization Development or equivalent.
- General knowledge of employment laws and practices.
- Experience running payroll.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and efficiently, with strong attention to detail.
- Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
- Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other Human Resources programs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain collaborative work relationships at all levels within the organization.
- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.

- $120k
